Welcome to Galactic Campaigns ("the service", "the app"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our Discord bot, the Saga Edition character management system, and the GM AI assistant.
By accessing our "frequencies" (using our services), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please terminate your connection immediately.
Galactic Campaigns provides a multi-layered TTRPG support ecosystem:
- Log Repository: A web-based viewer for archived Discord campaign narratives.
- Saga Edition Suite: Interactive digital character sheets and state-tracking for Saga Edition roleplaying.
- GM AI App: An AI-powered assistant designed to assist Game Masters with narrative generation, NPC dialogue, and rules adjudication.
- Server Architecture: Automation tools for Discord server organization, including channel and role deployment.
Our GM AI App utilizes Google’s Gemini models. By using the AI features, you acknowledge and agree:
- Nature of AI: Responses are generated by artificial intelligence. They may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or "hallucinate" rules that do not exist in official sourcebooks. Always verify critical game information.
- Prohibited Content: You may not use the AI to generate content that violates Discord’s Community Guidelines or promotes hate speech, illegal acts, or sexual violence.
- No Human Agency: The AI is a tool, not a person. We are not responsible for the narrative directions or "opinions" expressed by the AI during gameplay.
You retain ownership of the original text and character concepts you create. However, by using our service:
- License to Host: You grant Galactic Campaigns a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display your character sheets and logs as necessary to provide the service.
- Public Visibility: Logs marked as "Public" by a Server Administrator are visible to anyone with the link. Ensure no personally identifiable information (PII) is included in your roleplay narratives.
- Backups: While we employ secure data protocols, we are not responsible for the loss of character data due to user error or unforeseen database corruption.
You agree not to:
- Exploit the AI App to bypass safety filters or scrape data.
- Reverse-engineer the Saga Edition sheet logic for commercial gain.
- Use the bot to spam Discord's API or disrupt other users' gaming sessions.
- Impersonate Galactic Campaigns staff or automated system messages.
Access to advanced AI features (higher token limits) and expanded character sheet slots may require a subscription via third-party processors (e.g., Patreon/Stripe).
- Usage Quotas: AI usage is subject to daily limits based on your tier to ensure system stability.
- Refunds: Subscriptions are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
- "As-Is" Basis: Galactic Campaigns is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the GM AI will always be "online" or that the character sheets will be compatible with every homebrew ruleset.
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Galactic Campaigns and its developers shall not be liable for any data loss, service interruptions, or "narrative trauma" resulting from a particularly brutal TTRPG encounter.
We reserve the right to "blacklist" users or servers that violate these terms or engage in behavior that threatens the stability of the Galactic Campaigns community. You may terminate this agreement at any time by deleting your character data and removing the bot from your server.
As our technology evolves (specifically AI capabilities), we will update these Terms. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new protocol.
