Question: Improve or remove @zenodeapp setup/-scripts?

This issue is somewhat linked to #23.

Improving

If they're improved upon:

• Make the scripts not "root only".
• Being able to overwrite the variables in the utils/_variables.sh by passing arguments would make them more versatile.
• Make them not release-specific, in the same way M approaches it in his staged script.

Removal

These scripts may become obsolete at some point. When this happens it's best we delete them (speaking bout those inside of the setup folder, excluding migrate-configs.sh).

I suggest we work around this remake of the utils in a sprint after the next upgrade! keep this one open for now
