+This is a custom remote file for GerryDazoo's Slinger server, for the AB
+Cryptobox 700HD satellite receiver (should work with other AB Cryptobox
+receivers, but probably not Mini). However, I wrote this file with a bit of
+universality in my mind - you can easily extend and modify it, or use it as-is,
+since it includes some (IMHO) nice features.

+Some technical details:
+
+The layout is organized into blocks, the blocks are separate html tables - the
+rationale is that they follow each other vertically, thus simulating the look
+&amp; feel of the original remote; but if there is not enough vertical space,
+they will overflow horizontally, making the interaction much easier. And you
+can zoom in your browser window if you have enough free space. This also makes
+the remote fit Android Slinger app better. I also try hard to use only relative
+sizes.
+
+You can control your remove with the keyboard, see the table keyMap below.
+However, this can interfere with your browser keyboard shortcuts sometimes,
+especially if you are using keyboard-focused extensions (e.g. cVim). If this is
+your case, you can focus the "scratchpad" input box and the keys - at least the
+"normal" ones - won't control the browser.
+
+The remote contains all the codes up to the code 81 wrapped up in a
+<details><summary> block.  You can open the table by clicking on the "codes"
+widget. This proved to be invaluable when designing and debugging the remote
+and might help you adapting this remote to your box (or even using this as an
+universal one).
+
+There is some javascript (the sendCode() function) that sends POST requests
+without displaying the result - the original way of using POST on submit means
+that the remote would not react while the browser was refreshing the page - a
+small time interval, but enough to be a big nuisance, if you were pressing the
+buttons rapidly. And it also jumped to the top of the remote on each button
+press, which was especially annoying on the Android app.
+The drawback is that you lose updates to the Status line.
+
+This remote is still hackish in some parts, but it works for me...

+The layout replicates the layout of the original remote, with some exceptions:
+
+- I haven't been able to find the codes for the F1, SHIFT and MEDIA buttons
+(since I do not have a HDD connected to the receiver). I included these buttons
+but they are hidden. In any case, you can use the INFO key instead of F1, if
+you click the following three digits very rapidly (takes some attempts to make
+it right, and won't work without the sendCode javascript).
+
+- There are some codes that seem to have the same functionality. It might be a
+mistake in the .bin remote definition for the Slingbox, though.  Again, I keep
+these buttons hidden, to save some screen real estate (important for the
+Android player). I do not remember where I got the .bin years ago (probably the
+JP1 forum?), but it was for a different box that was rumoured to be compatible
+with the AB Cryptobox one (that turned out to be really the case).
