Please add releases

Thank you for this project!
Could you please add releases to this project? so one can follow it (watch releases only) because it is annoying to get issues/pull requests notifications everytime.
Using releases, we could follow the project and don't forget about it( I am following a lot of projects) and the number of notifications is huge if the project doesn't use releases.

I don't know yet which system to use, because the system of, version, functionality, issue (v1.0.0), does not convince me for this project.
I will think a little more.
