[FR] Add ACPI CPPC support for AMD CPUs/APUs

Modern AMD CPUs/APUs expose ACPI CPPC interfaces that allow the operating system to manage CPU frequency and performance in a fine-grained, collaborative way.
For my case, enabling CPPC on Linux let my CPU downclock to ~400 MHz at idle, which drastically reduced idle power draw.
As a result, my laptop’s battery life jumped from about 3 hours to over 6 hours during light usage like browsing, coding, and note-taking — all while keeping the system cooler and quieter without sacrificing responsiveness during bursts.

No such alternative.

Thanks for your feature request.

We also planned to use the amd-pstate driver instead of relying on ryzenadj on Linux.
However, since the original goal of this project was to bring proper power management to macOS through ryzenadj, and because our spare time is quite limited, the transition to amd-pstate will take some time.

It might even be cancelled if the original UXTU project officially adds Linux support in time — in that case, this project could eventually be deprecated.

I think it would be possible if someone were able to recompile the entire library into XNU.
