Contributing Guidelines – PatchFest Design Track

Thank you for participating in the PatchFest Hackathon – Design Track!
This repository contains the official challenges.
Please follow the guidelines below while submitting your work.

🔹 Who Can Contribute?

Only registered PatchFest participants/teams may contribute to this repository.

🔹 How to Submit Your Work

All tasks are listed as Issues in this repository.

For each issue you take up:

  1. Create a Comment under the Issue with your:

    • Team Name
    • Participant/Registration Number
    • Challenge Name / Issue Number
    • Optional: Any notes or clarification you need

  2. Complete the task in your preferred tool
    (Figma, Sketch, Canva, Adobe XD, Penpot, etc.)

  3. Submit your final work by replying under the same issue with:

    • Screenshots / exported PNG/JPG
    • Prototype link (if applicable)
    • A short explanation (2–4 lines) of your design decisions

🔹 Submission Format

Each submission must include:

  • ✔ Team Name
  • ✔ Registration Number
  • ✔ Issue Number / Challenge Title
  • ✔ Design Files
  • ✔ Prototype link (if applicable)
  • ✔ Brief description of your design

This helps judges easily track and evaluate your work.

🔹 Rules

  • Do not create new issues or PRs.
  • Submit only under the issue assigned to your challenge.
  • Ensure your submissions are your original work.
  • Respect deadlines mentioned by the organizers.
