Separation between description and registration information

simon cox: I’m a bit concerned that the information about the sample is mixed together with information about its registration status. My take is that it should be partitioned in at least two:

Registration – i.e. information about the registration record, significant in the context of IGSN only:

• Identifier
• Registrant
• isMetadataPublic

Sample description:

• alternateIdentifiers
• relatedResourceIdentifiers
• description
• resourceTypes
• materials
• locations
• collectionMethods
• collectors
• contributors

These ones I can’t tell:

• date (which date? Sample creation, registration …)
