How to train or evaluate for the custom Camera Lidar setup

I wanted to use this model for getting extrinsic parameters of custom Lidar Camera setup, so can we use the already given weights from KITTI or needs to train from the scratch!? If needs to train from the scratch, what should be done as we dont have the ground truth information at all!
