Serial Port disappeared after wifi setup, reset did not helped.

I have bought the ramses_esp USB dongle from you.
I am on windows 11 computer.
Everything worked fine via USB, I was even receiving logs.
But then I have tried to configure wifi password and ssid, it tried to authenticate with the wifi and then it stopped to communicate via com port.
After unplugging and replugging it does not opened the com port anymore.
I have tried different computer, without any success.
Tried to push the reset button, did not helped either.

Can you see whether the WiFi has connected to your router?
Has the device appeared on device manager?

No, it is not connected.
It stopped to work just after it wrote, that it is attempting to connect to the wifi.

What com ports are In device manager?

There is no COM port in device manager at the moment.
When I plugged it in for the fist time, computer recognised COM3.
Then it was possible to connect with COM3, I have seen the logs. Then I have configured wifi password and ssid.
Then serial stopped working and it was not recognised anymore.

Not stupid question, maybe I have screwed something up. I am newbie.
Putty, serial connection with COM3, then I have
seen the version 0.4.9 and received logs.
Then I wrote
wifi password xxxxxx
and then
wifi ssid MartinRtr
then it wrote, that it is trying to connect to the wifi.

I think you're going to have to reflash the device.

The code in the git contains some untested changes so there's an extra stage between steps 2 and 3.

This is to determine the tag for the latest build. Look here for the release marked as latest

and identify the tag associated with it.

At the moment the latest release is 0.4.9 and the tag is v0.4.9

You then need to checkout that version of the code with the command
git checkout

At the moment this is
git checkout v0.4.9

Also, because you can't see the COM ports you need to force the device into BOOT mode.
You can get to the buttons through the holes in the case but it may b easier to remove the lid.

Press and HOLD the FUNC button (next to the RED led.
Press and RELEASE the RESET button
Release the FUNC button.

You should now have a COM port that you can use in the flash stage

I strongly recommend you type the configuration commands in a text editor and the cut and paste them to the device when you've checked them. Command editing is not supported in the serial interface.

Unfortunately, the COM port does not appear after the pressing and holding the FUNC button and then pressing and releasing the RESET button. I have tried on 2 computers, short time, long time, nothing happened.

Stupid question. Did you continue holding the FUNC button while pressing and releasing the RESET button.

Yes, first press FUNC, hold, then push RESET, hold both a little biit (tried longer as well), release RESET and then release FUNC.
The stick was plugged in during this procedure, so the red LED was ON.
