Issues with shop signs.

I've been trying to make a shop for my server, and some of the signs aren't showing up. The shop exists, but the sign doesn't show up. I've got quite a few for buying and selling already in the place so I'm not sure if there's a limit to signs showing up in an area for the shops or if it's some kind of glitch?

I got the same issue, when that happened i just placed a sign on the chest with shift and click it with left click
