What's the latest Z2M Zigbee coordinator firmware for the Sonoff Dongle Plus MG24 ?

I'm looking into moving from Dongle P (which tbh has been perfectly fine) to Dongle Plus MG24 - but unlike the CC2652P firmware, I cannot find details of the latest suitable Coordinator firmware for this device?
Some stuff on github from @Nerivec but I think there's an issue with the SDK and CPx UART software flow control ?

Supported firmware versions are mentioned in the docs, as well as the various sources where you can find firmware files & tools.

We don't have the detailed specs for the Dongle Plus MG24 (or any of the new Sonoff MG24 adapters), so, currently, there is no community-built firmware for it.

CH3xx (like old Dongle-E) flow control issues are only for pre-releases at this time, pending Silabs fix(?).

Small update since I was looking personally - there is a merged PR here in terms of community firmware, but no public release yet: darkxst/silabs-firmware-builder#243

Oh, and I see you commented there as well @Nerivec . I tried downloading Simplicity Studio to build the fw myself, but there are too many hoops to jump through with a new project and the full build chain. Will happily throw a readily built fw on my Sonoff stick.

Sorry to bother you all again with this question.
I am also planning the migration from Sonoff Dongle P (CC2652P) to Sonoff Dongle Plus MG24.

I dont care about the latest bells and whistles, just want an stable fast zigbee network.
Comming from the z-stack with the CC2652P it was always an hit an miss regarding firmware versions.
Sure i looked at the Z2M documentation, but for the MG24, i am a bit lost.

So my questions are:

• With ember-zli when i look in the json (mentioned above), there are different builds (official, nerivec & nerivec_pre_release).
  Which one should ill use?
• In your opinion: What is the recommended "stable" firmware for HA+Z2M for the Sonoff MG24 dongle?

My plan is to use the "SONOFF dongle flasher addon" (https://dongle.sonoff.tech/guide/dongle-lmg21/flash-firmware-via-home-assistant-add-on/) in ha.

ember-zli takes firmware from the relevant GitHub repositories. So, it you use that, or supply a file from the equivalent GitHub release, it will be the same.

official comes from manufacturer, usually a few versions behind (not always). Others are from different open source builders. I also maintain a pre-release, which is the very latest version available from Silabs (which, of course, is always initially less tested). Right now, you will want either v2025.6.2 (stable) or v2025.12.x (pre-release).

Regarding flashers, I'm not sure which supports what anymore in terms of baudrate (too many out there 😅). The new firmware will be 460800 if not using official (still 115200). So, if you encounter any issue with flashing after that first one, use ember-zli where you can pick the baudrate yourself. For web-flasher, there's also https://mt.xyzroe.cc/ that's becoming popular (multi-vendor).

Note: Silabs has a much faster release cycle than TI (at least 2 versions per year, with usually 2-3 patch releases each).

As the reports from users of the v2025.12.x (pre-release) looks promissing, i am on that train and will try this version and report back.

Tried the migration from CC2652 to MG24.
Z2M did not start because of zstack (yeah i had an zstack CC2652P).
After adding the missing infos (pan_id, ext_pan_id & netwrok_key) to the configuration.yaml, removing the coordinator backup and restarting z2m fixed the issue.

All ~121 devices online, no repair was necessary.
Rocking v2025.12.2-pre2 now :-)
