Moes Blind Motor ZC-LS02 Open and Close reversed

Hi,
I have a Moes Blind Motor (ZC-LS02) however the Open and Close are reversed in the zigbee2mqtt portal. i.e. pressing the Up button on the device to open the blind changes the indicator to 0% and closed.

The blind is closed and shows:

I have tried using Motor Direction to reversed however this doesn't change how blind position is displayed just reverses the motor as expected (obviously i have to reverse the cord to keep the buttons pointing up and down correctly). I have also tried re-pairing as well as resetting the limits starting in both the open / closed positions.

I have seen some devices have Settings (specific) options but this ones just displays 'Empty exposes definition'. The issue seems similar to #14193 but i don't know if i am missing something or this is a bug with this specific devices in z2m.
Is there another way of accessing the additional definitions?

I am pretty new to Zigbee and z2m so apologises if there is something simple i am missing.

EDIT: missed off a that i am running zigbee2mqtt in docker and currently have version 2.9.2

I haven't really had time to look at this yet, I'm not familiar with zigbee2mqtt so it will take a bit longer to play around.

I will try to have a go this weekend and see if the ticket will work.

I have managed to test the fix in #12258 using the External Converter in #27677 (comment)

The complete External Converter that worked for me (when saved as a .js file) was:
