Hi. You need to set them up through the user-interface, or through MQTT. Groups are stored on the devices themselves, so you need feedback from the devices when creating the groups. |

What do you suggest? I think it's clear. You can define the groups in the file, but you need to add the members as I said

because this
doesn't work. As it stands now you can only add them through the frontend or MQTT. Adding them to the configuration does nothing (except that it breaks the frontend) Also the doc gives this example: groups.yamlWhich is not supported anymore. |

Is it save to assume groups defined in configuration.yaml are not supported anymore? I see some discussions/issues here and there that it's broken for others too, but never a definitive (or any) answer whether it's still supported.
The documentation is no indication of support, as it still claims adding devices to groups works, which has been dropped since 2.0, so it's outdated.
Anyway, if i add them to the configuration, they don't show up at all in the frontend. (But I also can't add them either as they are already taken).
Could I get some clarity here?
