Unable to save and missing translation

1. I am playing the game on GBATemp emulator on Adrenaline on PSVita. I can not save the game, an can only use the emulator's save state.

2. In stage 1-3, on the upper left (or right) of the map there is a character whose dialogue is still in Spanish. I can't recall whether is it Masao or Kazama however.
