The blender model is quite ready!

There is a model in Blender editor ready for review. Please check if it doesn't need some smoothing or other corrections. The model will be used for the theoretical experiment on a computer to check algorithm correctness and then to print the actual 3D model on a 3D printer.

Result after some tweaks.

To make this render:

• Apply all transformations on model.
• Recalculate normals!
• Add material with nodes setup like this:
  
• In camera disable color management: Display device: XYZ, View Transform: Raw, Sequencer XYZ
• Change renderer to Cycles.

Note: this render was not tested yet. We should create simple box with this texture as NormalMap and render should be the same as for original model. I will try to do it.

Color management is placed under Render properties>Color Management.

I have some issues with refreshing rendered images. I need to press F12 to open the Render Image and there I have the updated output. After some next changes, I need to close it and open it again to see the results. If you know any solution for that please let me know.

OK with the steps described by you I've got a similar effect. I will try to test it in the way that you described in "Note". I was checking some tutorials about similar tests and I've got something with backing testures. This guy is sharing this way to generate normal maps which add-on for Blender on his GitHub. It didn't help me for now, but maybe it will be useful in some way.
