NextUI is a great cfw, but I think it is too easy to accidentally overwrite your save states. To improve this, I think there should be an option to toggle a feature that enables these things:
- In the main menu, both A and X should be resume. Disable opening a game from scratch in the main menu.
- Add a "Reset" button in the in-game menu with an "Are you sure?" prompt, since you can no longer restart a game from the main menu
- Quicksave when powering off should save to your current save slot, not a separate temporary save state
- "Quit" in the in-game menu is replaced with "Save & Quit"
- Auto save when the battery is low to avoid losing hours of progress
These additions would give NextUI a more Onion-like experience.
