Contributing to PRoNTo

Thank you for your interest in contributing! All contributions are welcome — new features, bug fixes, documentation, and demonstration data. If you are interested in contributing, please contact Prof. Janaina Mourao-Miranda or Prof. Christophe Phillips.

Reporting Bugs

Open a GitHub Issue with:

  • MATLAB version (e.g. R2022b)
  • Operating system and architecture (e.g. macOS 14, Apple Silicon)
  • SPM12 version/update date
  • Steps to reproduce the bug
  • Any MATLAB error messages

Suggesting Features

Open an Issue describing the feature, its use case, and relevant references.

Submitting Code

  1. Fork the repository and create a branch from main.
  2. Write clear, well-commented MATLAB code following existing conventions (functions prefixed prt_).
  3. Test changes against the example datasets.
  4. Submit a Pull Request with a clear description of what changed and why.
