Tonight, I finished the Job Scraper software I developed in Python with the integration of Adzuna API for a Father's Day Gift. After several rounds of feedback from my father and changing the code, I believe the Software is ultimately ready to be deployed into an exe. file for my father, which I will proceed with tomorrow. Throughout this 10-day journey, I successfully went through the entire SWD Cycle: Planning, API Integration, AI Experimentation, NLP, UI Design, User feedback and testing, Refactoring, Killing my darlings, and now Deployment.
Message to Dad:
Dad, I designed this software especially for you to attempt to express my love for you and try to pay you back for all the things you've done for me. All the times you helped me with mathematics... all the times you helped me debug my C++ code... all the times we played games together... all the times you supported and told me to continue going...all the times you gave me ideas for projects... all the times we laughed together... All the times we were together.
Thank you, Dad, for everything!
Happy Father's Day, and I pray we will have an amazing year full of healthiness, joyfulness, and growth together.
