Hi Mark,

When I run srum_dump.py I get the error message, "I could not open the srum file it appears to be corrupt. ERROR:'NoneType' object has no attribute 'id_map'. I tried it with both pyesedb and dissect with the same result.

When I use the compiled version, I do not get an error and a report is generated.

I followed the instruction in the README and installed all the requirements and confirmed that those requirements were installed with the correct versions. I'm using Python 3.12.10 .

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if there is any additional information that you might need to help me debug this.

Sounds like an module version is incompatible. That is a bit of a challenge to deal with which os why I build the exe when I get it right. Can you send me the entire traceback and the results of “pip list”? Mark

Open the srum_dump.log file that was created in your output folder. The real error (the one dissect.esedb threw) will be logged there right before the traceback.
