So I saw #6, and it affects 1.18 too.
I would like to request integration of the fix into the 1.18 branch.

What happens is that, on my remote server, JEI doesn't show the trinkets when searching for them, but if I search for the experience crafter I can then navigate to the trinket recipes from there (so the recipes are fine, they just don't show up in the recipe list on the right side).
The real problem is that the trinkets don't show their effects in tooltips.
After finding the linked issue I tried creating a SP world. The trinket recipes do show up there, with effects in the tooltip too.
Then I tried connecting to my server, and the trinket recipes now appear in the JEI search (with correct tooltips).
This is where it gets funny, because when I try to look at the tooltip of a ring I created previously, the game crashes.
It doesn't even immediately crash to desktop.
It freezes for a few seconds, then shows a screen saying "Saving world", and then crashes to desktop.
