[Feature Request] Add OpenTelemetry instrumentation

I would be nice to have an advanced option to add OpenTelemetry instrumentation to the application.

I would suggest it being a minimal example, e.g. using the one from the OpenTelemetry guide

Is this something that you would consider adding?

To get started, I think we might need to establish a guide to define which data needs to be monitored. like this: Semantic conventions for OpenTelemetry SDK metrics
