Description

The rules regarding how version>= is handled are rather sparse. In particular, it's not specified how or if it works with packages that use version-semver or version-date as opposed to version.

Existing information on this is split between the Versioning reference article and the "Versioning concepts article" and is specific to the simple x.y.z[#v] format (version).
