Incompatible machines

Started a new save a couple a days ago to test the Filteryears: Vintage Progression mod and Ive hade some issues when borrowing equipment.

I tested with base game vehicles and only Better Contract mod enabled and that seems to work fine.
The issues seems to start when using other vehicle mods. All mods are downloaded through in game.

When Mercedes Benz DLC is enabled the borrowing options include Agrobox but not the truck thats capable to lift it.

That often happens when additional vehicles/ implements are introduced in a savegame saved earlier. The internal leasing vehicles list gets mangled up.

Quick fix is to delete missions.xml from the savegame folder. Or ingame, cancel/ delete all offered contracts (key C), and generate new ones (key X).

If this doesn't fix it, I will need your log.txt please.

For Fertilize Contract it gave me a spreader PTO driven and Tractor without PTO

Ok, thanks for all the the testing.
My assumption is that the vintage years mod disrupts the leasing vehicle lists.

Could you upload your log.txt, and maybe also a zip of a savegame folder that has the error?

Thanks. Could you, as a futher test, edit FilterYears_Config.xml in your savegame folder, and set isMissionFilterEnabled="false" ?
An easier way for that is to set Era Appropriate Mission Equipment to off in the ingame settings.

Also, it would help to set Debug to "On" on the BC settings page, then save and restart. BC then writes to the log what leasing vehicles are loaded from the other mods.

Edit: I've looked into the FilterYears source code. Problem is that they try to exchange all modern leasing equipment to an alternative from the current era (i.e 1960 - 1970). They do this by finding another vehicle within the same shop category.
Meaning: swapping a grain trailer to a bale trailer can happen, because they are both in the trailer category.

Tested what you said and it still the same.. I tested it with Benz DLC enabled and still got a container Im guessing they are also listed as "trailers"

Yep, so it probably only works w/o FilterYears mod.
