Steps to reproduce

My subtitles get hidden underneath the black bars after some time playing the media. I suspect it might be something to do with power savings or idle time because if I turn up/down the volume, the Moonfin UI comes up over the movie and the subtitles are rendered correctly over the black bars again (for some time)

Before anyone can pick this up it needs a little more from you, so it has been labelled Missing Logs.

A diagnostic report is missing

Playback problems depend heavily on your media, server, and TV, so we need the report to see what actually happened.

Diagnostic logging is off by default and is kept in memory only, so it has to be turned on before you reproduce the problem. There's no log file on the TV to go looking for.

1. Go to Settings > About > Debugging and turn on Diagnostic Logging.
2. Reproduce the problem. Don't close the app afterwards, closing it clears the buffer, and only the last 500 entries are kept.
3. Go to Settings > About > Debugging > View Logs and press Send Report.

Send Report uploads to your own Jellyfin server, not to us, so pressing it isn't the last step. Fetch it from that server under Administration > Logs, where it is the newest file whose name starts with upload_Moonfin for Tizen_ or upload_Moonfin for webOS_, and attach that file here.

If the app says the server isn't accepting client logs, turn client logging on in your server dashboard and send the report again.

If you have no access to that server, photograph the View Logs screen instead and say so, and someone will pick it up from there.

Each label comes off automatically once that piece is sorted.
