@ryanmwhitephd Thanks! New versions of both documents posted. Both require review and further work, especially the Dev Guide. Change summary as follows:

General

Reformatted the markdown source to one sentence per line to facilitate GitHub diffs
Minor editing for punctuation, grammar, usage and uniform voice
Shortened the committee name to "MII&AC" after the first use
Trimmed the acronym list to those actually used, corrected the table heading, extracted definitions to a separate table, combined the Glossary and Concepts sections
Simplified the TOC and Reader's Guide and moved them to the beginning
Corrected heading levels

Governance

Added known contributors to date from the Google Drive version history
Listed the document itself under the applicable products
Updated the executive summary to better reflect the committee's latest viewpoints
Listed known stakeholders
Corrected "RC or WRC" to "RG or RGC"
Clarified membership some

Dev Guide

Standardized "main" and "master" branch to "master"
Generalized for all repositories, not just the taxonomy
This document remains rough and incomplete. It may also contain high-level information that we should move to the main Governance document instead.

Updated to use main which is the accepted term for the primary or head branch. Updated information in the merging section which describes the merge process.
