Ability to plug a internally managed VPC subnet into a DPU service #1972

@ajf

Description

@ajf

A infrastructure service tenant (e.g. storage) that's providing services to other tenants may need to run services on DPUs that are connected to the infrastructure tenant VPC.

A tenant with this capability should be allowed to create a DPU service with a network configuration of a VPC that belongs to the infrastructure service tenant.

This would then be specified on the DPU service

Order of operations

  • Infrastructure Service tenant creates a VPC
  • Infrastructure service tenant creates a DPU service on a consumer tenant's VPC with the VPC ID of the Infrastructure Service VPC.

This will cause a DPU service to get provisioned on DPUs of the consuming tenant's instances that is on the VPC of the infrastructure service tenant.
