It doesn't have any magic numbers, no recognisable mimetypes or file encodings, yet Shotwell can open it. It can also easily be imported as a numpy array by the program. Weird undocumented impl. But I need to recreate this implementation with externally provided images which are not in this numpy/image format from the beginning.
