Bug: Seeking not working and video playback crashing to Youtube error screen on every video

Hi,

Experiencing a very weird app-breaking bug that I have no explanation for. It started out of the blue and I can't identify any changes to the TV that would have caused it. On every video I play, video playback stops after 10-20 seconds and a Youtube error screen displays:

Additionally, video seeking does not work. The control itself works, but when I try to seek in the video it just shows the circle loading icon forever. I've only tried this with videos from my subscriptions, but I will try it with other videos tonight. I can take a video of the issue as well.

@NicholasBly Looks like this is an issue with other forks of the Youtube app as well. Someone proposed a fix here: webosbrew#458

Try this new test version to see if it fixes your issue. I noticed similar behavior on my LG G4, it would just be a black screen though and had to press Enter/up arrow several times to see the progress bar. Seems to load SponsorBlock segments but the video title/data wouldn't load/start. I'm guessing after skipping X amount of ads, YouTube decides to cut you off temporarily. This mitigation should help fix that.

I'm having the same problem on the UP7750 TV.

After a few seconds of video playback, an error screen with a QR code appears.

I can confirm the above issue occurs using my YT account on my webOS 6.5 C1 OLED with YTAF version 0.7.6 (which I stayed on due to the working previews) but 0.7.6 on webOS 3.4 still works fine with my YT account (at least for the time being).

Using YT guest mode on my C1 allows the videos to play as expected.

It does appear that YT are targeting accounts using alternative apps.

I tried to download 0.8.1 build 5 to test it out, but the link does not seem to be working at the moment.
