Recover missing Recent Project

Hey guys, I was just recording a scam during an interview, so this is super critical 💀.
During post-mortem, I was writing everything down and I realised I needed to make one more screenshot, so I hit the File > Recording. After that I was asked the following where I chose "No".

I could see the project in the Recent Projects, but then I needed to make yet another screenshot and after being done, the original first project is now gone! 😱😱

Is there a way to recover the previous project?

Are they stored in some secret folder, but maybe the interface just didn't load it, or are they thrown in the Recycle Bin so that I could still recover it? Or are they deleted permanently?

A little suggestion: Could you swap the button icons? And maybe also change the text?
