The Noteboxd API gives you programmatic access to one of the most comprehensive fragrance databases available. Whether you're building a recommendation engine, a discovery app, or enriching an e-commerce catalogue, you can query fragrance profiles, olfactory notes, accord families, brand catalogues, perfumer portfolios, and community-powered wearing stats — all over a simple REST API.

Each request costs between 1¢ and 25¢ and is billed against a prepaid balance tied to your project. There are no subscriptions — you top up your balance and spend only what you use.
Sign in to the [Noteboxd developer portal](https://developers.noteboxd.com) and create a new project to receive your API key (`nb_live_...`). Top up your project's balance from the billing section of the portal. Calls are deducted automatically as you make requests. Pass your API key in the `Authorization: Bearer` header and query the API.
