Error message in custom functions is not displaying in desktop application

Hello, the issue is that the custom function error Is displaying in the cell but its missing error message in desktop application Mac/windows. On the other hand in excel on web the tooltip with error message is displayed. As far as I'm concerned error messages are working only with notAvailable and invalidValue so we use only those two. some screen shots of web and desktop application for reference. Even in error checking it's displaying default error message instead of ours.

Hello @Nikodem98 Thanks for reporting this, and We apologize for getting back to this issue late.

We looked into this on our side, including testing on Win32/Mac/Web with ScriptLab snippets and custom shared-runtime Add-In (having custom functions returning object CustomFunctions.Error using invalidValue and a custom message). So far, I have not been able to reproduce the issue: in my testing, the custom error message is displayed correctly on all platforms as expected. Please refer to the screenshot below for reference:

Could you please upgrade Excel to the latest version and try reproducing the issue again? If you still face the issue, please share the latest Excel version/build where you tested it and the language in which you are testing. Thanks a lot!
