MoonRay Joins the Academy Software Foundation

If you haven't already heard the news, we are excited to announce that MoonRay has joined the Academy Software Foundation!

A few things to note for this GitHub community --

GitHub Org Migration

As a part of the move, the source code has migrated GitHub Organizations from DWA-hosted (https://github.com/dreamworksanimation/openmoonray) to ASWF-hosted (https://github.com/OpenMoonRay/openmoonray). GitHub automatically redirects URLs and any existing forked and cloned repositories should still work, but it would be good to update any git remotes in local clones just to be sure.

New Community Channels (Slack and Zoom)

Additionally, while GitHub Discussions will remain critical and useful for the project, we are now able to take advantage of broader ASWF-provided community tools. So we invite you to join us in the #moonray channel on the ASWF Slack (join here), and in MoonRay Technical Steering Committee meetings via Zoom, which are open to the public, for greater discussion and community building.
