🚀 Welcome to OpenSAK!

OpenSAK is a free, open-source geocache management tool — a modern,
cross-platform successor to GSAK, built with Python and PySide6.

📥 Download

Always download the latest version from the official releases page:

Current version: v1.13.11

🪟 Windows

1. Download OpenSAK-Setup-windows.exe from the releases page
2. Run the installer and follow the instructions
3. Launch OpenSAK from the Start menu or desktop shortcut

Note: Windows may show a security warning since the installer is not
yet code-signed. Click "More info" → "Run anyway" to proceed.

🐧 Linux

1. Download OpenSAK-linux.AppImage from the releases page
2. Make it executable:

   chmod +x OpenSAK-linux.AppImage

3. Run it:

   ./OpenSAK-linux.AppImage

🍎 macOS

1. Download OpenSAK-macos.dmg from the releases page
2. Open the .dmg file and drag OpenSAK to your Applications folder
3. Launch OpenSAK from Applications

Note: On first launch macOS may block the app since it is not yet
notarized. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click
"Open Anyway".

🗄️ Importing your first caches

Once OpenSAK is running:

1. Go to File → Import
2. Select a GPX file or a Pocket Query ZIP from geocaching.com
3. Your caches will appear in the list — ready to filter, search and manage!
