Describe the bug
Every time I upgrade OpenVPN in my computer, through winget or through manual upgrade, the option "Launch on user logon" is being checked, although I uncheck it every time after an upgrade (because I don't want OpenVPN to start automatically every time I start the OS/login. I didn't tested with other options in the settings, but it's possible that also other user preferred changes in options aren't being saved across updates. I think this is a really annoying and unefficient behavior.
To Reproduce
- Click on OpenVPN GUI app in windows to start it
- Right-click on the computer-with-lock icon in the task bar->Settings
- See the the following window:
- Check "Launch on user logon"
- Upgrade the app through winget or manual upgrade
- Do steps 1-3 again, and you will see that the option "Launch on user logon" is cheked, although you unchecked it before the upgrade
Expected behavior
User preferred changes to options like Launch on user logon should be preserved.
Version information (please complete the following information):
- OS: Windows 10 22H2 latest version
- OpenVPN version: OpenVPN GUI v11.63.0.0
