Expanding BLE Capabilities for Robot Vacuums

Current Situation

I purchased a SwitchBot K11+ robot vacuum, thinking that it provides the option for 100% offline control with no cloud dependency but that doesnt seem to be the case. However, its bluetooth integration did allow for some controls without needing to go through cloud, but it's options are somewhat limited compared to via SwitchBot app.

Proposed Change

Would be nice to be able to see the following:

• Ability to pause it where it is at (only see options for Return to Dock, Start and Return to Home (Return to Home & Return to Dock seems to be the same thing...).
• Ability to see where the vacuum is on the map (unsure if entire map data is stored inside robot or it's in cloud).
  • I don't really care if I can't see where the bot exactly is on the map, just wanted to know which room it's actively cleaning without having to check inside Switchbot app.
• Command which room to clean by using Area feature in Home Assistant
• Change suction power level
• Change # of cleaning times
• See how long it's been cleaning (plus along with how much space has been cleaned so far). Those are only seen in Switchbot app.

Additional Context

My end-goal is to have a non-cloud dependency home automation environment and I think SwitchBot should take this opportunity to provide that option. Options for non-cloud version of robot vacuums seems to be extremely limited in today's market...
