After the patch is installed, is there any problem if I update the OS, even if there's no record of the current project supporting it?

I would be cautious upgrading if you're running any of the Performance Tweaks. I bump up the gate and mention it in the release notes once I'm able to test it, or sometimes people let me know via a GitHub Issue that it's working OK.

I'll probably get a chance to test 5.1.18 w/ the tweaks firsthand either tomorrow or over the weekend, or I'll probably hear by then. I also have some ways I can check it without actually installing the tweaks on that firmware version, but generally I only have two sites I manage on EA, the rest are on stable or RC channels.

If support is confirmed, you'll see it announced in a release note. It's a little tricky keeping up with UniFi releases lately... they're releasing almost as often as I do lol.
