I've been enjoying harvesting the Macdon way, swathing then harvesting, and have also been desperately waiting for your mod to land; Scroft sold it so well, and you have done the most amazing job! ( i owe you, we ALL owe you multiple beers, and even a few pub meals!) thanks!
Wondering, though, I think the swathing process has confused the mod. I've found, I've swathed the crop (Barley in this case) nice and early in the morning when it was 12.39 in the field, nicely in grade A.
The swathes don't seem to be detected (like the straw ) by the mod, and the meter still gives me a reading of 12.39, in the ground.
Then running the old combine over, the grade goes from 12.39 (A) on the ground to 10.4, (B) in the combine and it's that B that then sticks with the grain to the silo. No delay between reading the ground then picking it up in the combine, and then getting the new reading in the tub.
Thoughts? The MacDon swathing something the mod is not ready for? Could be a fun one to play with the idea of the benefits of swathing IRL.
I'll try my other field directly with the Combine and see if the mod otherwise works as expected.
