Hi, quick question regarding the grain quality system and how it interacts with productions/feed usage.
As far as I understood, harvested grain is classified into quality grades A–D, where the quality mainly affects the selling price (for example Grade D only receiving around 60% of the normal market value).
What I would like to know is:
Does the quality grade have any influence when the grain is used inside productions or as animal feed?
For example:
- Grain Mill
- Animal feed/mixing
- Other production chains
From my understanding, the harvested volume itself stays the same and only the sale value changes depending on quality. So I assume productions and animals do not care whether the grain is Grade A or Grade D, and that 1000L always remain 1000L regardless of quality.
Is that correct, or are there hidden modifiers/efficiency impacts depending on the grain class?
Thanks in advance!
