This is a suggestion, not a bug, but I couldn't find anywhere else to put it. This may be specific to Linux Mint, but I think this approach will work on any Debian derived distribution.

Doing what xenopeek here suggests worked for me and it added SamRewritten to both LM's menu and installed it to /usr/bin. This way saves you having to go into the build directory and running the binary directly. Because it's known now to LM's package manager, it can be uninstalled if needed.
