can't use the docs-search tool

MCP is working nicely but it seems you can't search PostHog docs with the docs-search mcp tool without having an InKeep API key

This is mentioned here https://github.com/PostHog/mcp?tab=readme-ov-file#environment-variables, but it seems very odd?

Does this error also show up when connecting to the MCP server using the MCP configuration specified in the README.md?

If you're running the MCP yourself, that's expected behavior: The Inkeep API key is only available to the PostHog MCP server running at https://mcp.posthog.com, and is not available for self hosting the MCP server.

You can use either Max AI built into the docs on https://posthog.com/docs or connect to https://mcp.posthog.com. Let me know if the issue persists after trying that.

I'm in the EU hence sadly can't use mcp.posthog.com. Happy for you to close this as I know the EU/Cloudflare stuff is actively being looked at.
