Yes I think someone will send me a DVT3 for SMC dumping. I also have a 1.4 to check if there's any difference in the P11 for Focus encoder.
If you want anything dumped in particular... maybe something you already own, you can ship it to me.
Oh and the software dump of Xyclops is tempting.

I guess dumping of a Sega Chihiro SMC would be interesting to see also.

Chihiro should just be 1:1 with Debug tbh. I have a feeling that Debug 1.1's are SMC rev D05 as Chihiro never had the USB daughterboard.

Is the tuscany 8051 code functionally simular to that of the pic16 code base ?
If one were to develop a 8051 based smc for the 1.0 to the mythical 1.5 could it be made universal ?

It's very similar in structure, yes.
For sure you could make a universal SMC excluding Tuscany.

Something like a SOIC version of the modern 8051 chip would make a great candidate to make an adaptor to solder in place of the pic16 such as the AT89C5131A-L, having a single code path would make things a lot easier.
