[Bug]: Watch history not clearing and UI inconsistencies across desktop and mobile #117

What happened?

A few related issues with the history and search bar UI:

  1. Clearing watch history doesn't actually work — after using the clear option, all videos are still showing in the list like nothing happened.
  2. On top of that, sometimes when clearing watch history, it temporarily wipes everything — subscriptions, settings, and playlists all disappear for a moment, then come back to normal after a while, but the watch history itself still doesn't get cleared.
  3. On mobile, there's no button to delete a single video from the watch history, only a bulk clear option.
  4. On desktop/widescreen, the search bar doesn't show a "Clear all" button, but it does on mobile.

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce (clear history):

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy → Watch History.
  2. Click the "Clear" button next to Watch history.
  3. The history list stays the same, nothing gets removed.
  4. Sometimes after clicking Clear, subscriptions, settings, and playlists content temporarily disappear before coming back to normal shortly after.

Steps to reproduce (single video delete):

  1. Open TypeType on mobile.
  2. Go to the History tab.
  3. No option to delete a single video from the list.

Steps to reproduce (search bar clear button):

  1. Open TypeType on desktop.
  2. Click the search bar.
  3. No "Clear all" button appears, unlike on mobile.
