problem with latex

I tried the extension with latex (*.tex) files, and I get the error message No brackets to modify found when trying to cycle brackets with Shift+Cmd+Alt+K. More specifically, when I start with {} or [] then it cycles through to (), but then gives the error message. Deleting () or selecting content doesn't work either.
I noticed that there's no latex section in language-definitions.json so I tried to create one, but that didn't help either.

EDIT: The problem goes away if I disable the "LaTeX Workshop" extension.

Hi, seems related to #47. Will try to adress both issues at the same time. Unfortunately I don't have time at the moment to look into this.
