[Unifi Controller] LSIO is migrating images

Thanks for notifying! I'll make sure to update to the new structure before January the 1st. I'll probably make it a major version upgrade so I hope it won't create too much issues for people using this.

No problem wasn't sure if you were aware. Was in the process of updating some things when I noticed, and since I tend to check the controller because it takes I while I noticed that message.

Thanks for reminding. 😉 Unfortunately I had a server meltdown at home which gobbled up my whole holiday, besides the family gatherings and trips. So I hope to pick this up ASAP.

@Qonstrukt To upgrade just change the container image to the: linuxserver/unifi-network-application:8.1.113 ?
Is it more complicated?

@WyriHaximus Sorry but I am anxious to get my hands on the new version because there are the new devices that have it as a minimum requirement

@lorenzomonta I'm not stopping you mainly pointed that out so you have all the information you might need. If you try it out, let us know how it goes. Also got a U7 that needs the new version to get WiFi 7 as well, it only does WiFi1-6 at the moment.

I started working on it, but had quite a busy period, and am running this mostly for some clients with older setups that don't have their own console, so the urgency is a bit low here unfortunately. 😅

I do still want to upgrade it, but not sure if somebody else made a replacement by now.

Well let us know when you have an update :). No rush from my side, not sure if @lorenzomonta tried swapping the docker image and how that went?

Do I understand correctly that the upgrade is not seamless, as we're not currently using the mongoless image? Any ideas on how to tackle this, or would a clean reinstallation be the best approach here?

EDIT: It seems we can't easily just add in a bitnami MongoDB subchart and start using that on Raspberry Pi's as it does not have an ARM compatible image.

I've forked this and updated quickly to use the new linuxserver image: https://github.com/tszyszko/helm-charts. Will need to migrate the DB over, I just downloaded the backup from the console, applied the helm and then restored from backup.
