Quick note while I'm working on this stuff; it would be great to replace the current README (which is growing pretty dense/hard to read), with an actual Documenter.jl docs site or something.

Will maybe ask someone to take a look once the new function is merged in.

I think that starting by stripping down the README.md to only the 2-3 example variations that are common would be a good start. More docs could come later.
