Description

The current CEUS GUI cannot load presaved NIFTI region of interests (ROI). When select the path to the NIFTI ROI, hitting "Accept" leads to no response

Environment (for bugs/installation issues)

• OS: Linux
• Python Version: Python3.11
• Package Version: NA
• Installation Method: NA

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

1. Draw an VOI/ROI first in the "Manual Segmentation"
2. Save the VOI as a .nii.gz file
3. Load the VOI under the NIFTI

Error Messages/Logs (if applicable)

No Error message appear

Additional Context

This is pretty essential and high piority for the users to review VOI that others draw before!

I have completed the integration of the analysis screen into the CEUS GUI workflow on the branch
#29-ceus-bug-report-gui-cannot-load-saved-nifti-voi, which was the main reason why GUI was not able to proceed.

The GUI is now capable of proceeding from segmentation to parameter configuration and analysis execution without crashing.
I appropriate if you check and confirm that issues has been solved, so that I can start a PR.

Hi Omid,

Thank you for updating the ui files. Now I can go through the similar process. It does go through the segmentation selection without crashing the system.

However, the key point is to review whether the segmentation VOI is being correctly drawn so that clinicians can give suggestions. Could we add one more step to visualize the loaded segmentation between segmentation loading and analysis?

Hi Yuanshan,

I have implemented the preview of the selected VOI on the page after loading the segmentation file (NIfTI), similar to how it is saved in the segmentation selection menu. Please feel free to test it and let me know your thoughts.

Just a short note: this branch includes changes in the ceus subrepository. For testing, please make sure you have pulled the latest changes in the subrepo and that your HEAD is set to this branch.

Hi Omid,

Thank you for your updates. I tested the feature update and I noticed one error when drawing the 3D VOI. When I draw on the third plane and hit "close ROI" there will pop up this error.

Now I can successfully loaded the VOI from NIFTI, the issue I noticed is the image is inverted upside down.

Other than those issues, I think I have no more comments!

I first tried to draw a VOI with interpolation but this error popped up which is showing the interpolation cannot be done

I also tired to load the VOI saved as NIFTI file. It is supposed to be in this location:

However, when I loaded the VOI, the coronal plane aspect ratio seems to be off a bit. Moreover, the crosshair is hidden also. Lastly, do you mind adding a bar to adjust the alpha for the VOI? Other than that, I think this feature should be good to go! Thank you so much again! If possible, can you also merge #29 into #28 so that we could view VOI in both b mode and ceus?
