Clapper seems to leak memory over time

I've had a clapper process open since 28 Mar 2026. Today is 04 Apr 2026 and that process is using 5.35GiB of RAM:

The playlist only has 5 items in it, and it's been paused for a lot of that time.

I have captured a core dump, and can do any suggested analysis on that if needed.

Hi. Thanks for the report. After a quick look, it seems that memory usage grows when when changing played items from queue. Perhaps some old pipeline elements or buffer pools are not freeing all allocated memory when they being freed and replaced with new ones 🤔 .

Although not sure if its Clapper at fault here for missing to do something that causes this or just an upstream bug. This would need investigating...
