RPM Clapper package broken on Fedora 44

As you can see Clapper suddenly force closed when opening a video, this didn't happen when open music format.

Hi. Can you tell me which GPU are you using? Also, whether this is Clapper installed from system package or Flatpak?

My GPU is RX580 with mesa-filesystem-26.0.6-2.fc44.x86_64.
It's installed with DNF Package Manager.

Thanks for confirming this issue on AMD. This was known (happened before for others). Unfortunately there is no easy/instant fix. As a workaround (and the only "official" package anyway) I recommend you to use Flatpak from Flathub instead, it's purposely not updated yet, so it should continue to work on your system.

Other packages I will try to "fix" their compatibility issues in the next Clapper version. Currently no ETA unfortunately.

Could u tell more detail about the problem? It's because AMD/Mesa? Or because their package? Because (well this is out of topic) my GPU Screen recorder package (installed via COPR) also broke after Fedora 44 update.

I can ask them if this problem related to their package.

Hmm... Dunno about screen recorder package situation. I assume its problem cause is different. In my case its just some breaking changes (compatibility issues) with more recent GStreamer version that is now present in latest distro releases such as Fedora 44. In Flatpak I still include the older version, that's why it should continue to work until I can update the app properly.
