does the debloating tool affect the startup of wsl? i did it yesterday and i tried opening wsl today, it just pops up then disappears. still debugging what the issue could be.

I personally have not encountered this. Have you confirmed that Windows Subsystem for Linux is still enabled in Settings, under System > Optional Features > More Windows Features?

Edit: You should be able to run the command wsl in powerShell to see the reason it's quitting immediately on startup.
