Ver 2.0 - HDR is not availible in games in hybrid mode.

In 2.0, gamma mode works great in general UI, but when game with HDR supports starts, there is a short screen switchover to HDR, visible color change but no game can recognize availible HDR mode. HDR icon is visible next to brightness slider but it's dimmed.

Hey, to help me narrow down the cause of this issue, could you please do these things for me?

1. Let me know which SteamOS version your Go 2 is running, and which games you've tested my plugin with. If you used a Proton version other than the default for any of them, please mention that too.

2. Please test this earlier build. It doesn't include a few HDR checks that may have turned out to be unnecessary, and let me know if it behaves any differently from 2.0.0:
   LeGo2BrightnessFix-1.1.0-rc.zip

3. Optional - only if the build from step 2 doesn't help. If 1.1.0-rc behaves the same as 2.0.0 for you, please test this build as well:

Tested on Cyberpunk, Death Stranding and Witcher 3.

I've tested all of them. All behave the same. No hdr content in game. There is greyed out HDR logo in side menu but in plugin it says no hdr content, gamma 2.2. Even when I've tried to force PQ mode games don't recognize HDR mode.

What you're describing - the grey HDR icon next to the brightness slider - means SteamOS has detected an HDR-capable game, but HDR is disabled in that game's settings.

As long as the game isn't actually outputting HDR, the plugin won't switch from Gamma 2.2 to PQ. It does that automatically once HDR is enabled in the game's display settings.

Have you tried enabling HDR in any of those games?

It doesn't work this way. It will, propably, in next Game Scope version. Current one on latest 3.9 main channel doesn't support content driven HDR. There are at least 4 commits on steam that's should be backported for this feature.

At this point game works same way as on windows. It have to get HDR availible to show You HDR options in menu. So I can't enable it in game. If You had HDR enabled before installing Your plugin - maybe it would trigger HDR switchover.

The icon is gray, but plugin says gamma 2.2. On forced PQ it should just work out of the box, but it doesn't.
